Remember the cluster of red-roofed buildings on the left side of the previous two pictures?

Well, this is a better look at them.

I would guess that 10 or 12 years ago, there was nothing there but desert.

Now, there is a substantial development, including green trees.

The desert, however, is even more substantial.

The desert dwarfs the development.
