PART TWO, Photo Album. Number Seven

Finally, the road we walk along curves a little to the right, and we can almost see our apartment building.

In this picture, you see only a portion of the right finger-ridge.

See the last building on the far right, the one with the tilted dark-green roof?

We live to the right of that--off camera--right across the street from it.

Can you see the dark shadows behind the buildings, on the desert hills?

Those are shadows from clouds.

The desert sand is naked. Only the clouds clothe.
